Description
After the warmth of the mother’s womb, the cradle is the place where the baby will spend most of his time during the first months of his life; the place where, gradually, he will awaken to the world. Charlie Crane has therefore designed the KUMI cradle as both a reassuring cocoon and a space open to the outside world. With its minimalist, contemporary lines, the KUMI cradle rocks sideways to help babies gently fall asleep.
Its minimalist lines and colorful laces give it a resolutely contemporary look. In addition to the lightness of the laces, they are safer than bars between which the baby could trap a leg or arm. During assembly, parents-to-be lace the cords themselves. It’s a gesture with a high emotional value, since it means helping to build your little one’s nest!
